31 Mar – Finding peace

Our minds are powerful and what we think about affects us more than most of us understand. Studies reveal that, “75-98% of mental, physical and behavioural illnesses come from toxic thinking” (Dr Carolyn Leaf).

Therefore it makes sense that a loving God who is tye author of peace has a way for us to live in peace. He cares infinitely about every detail of our lives and as the giver of peace wants us to keep our minds fixed on Him so that our whole being would be kept in perfect and constant peace. Peace being; “a freedom from disturbance, and having quiet, tranquillity, and rest.”

For God is not a God of confusion but of peace”. (1 Corinthians 14:33)

When we fix our minds on God we choose to fix our thoughts on His goodness, on what He says, on who He is and on His promises. He wants us to have hope for the day and He knows that fixing our thoughts on Him, which is fixing our thoughts on faith, hope and love will cause health and wholeness in us.

For when we activate hope this activity of the mind changes the structure of our brain to a positive and normal direction. That means there is hope for us to change even where we haven’t been peaceful and have struggled with our thoughts and emotions. When we fix our minds on Jesus and His love and goodness our actual brains change. “It has been found that 12 minutes of daily focused prayer (which is simply talking and listening to God), over an 8 week period can change the brain to such an extent it can be measured on a brain scan.”

The Bible says it this way, “Finally, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things..and the God of peace will be with you.”(Philippians 4: 8-9)

Today check what you have been fixing your mind on. Is it thoughts of hope or is it thoughts of fear, failure and disaster? If you have been struggling, I encourage you to take time throughout the day with Jesus, read His words in the bible, download them onto your phone, put a favourite verse on your screen saver, pin-board or wherever you will see it as a reminder of what God says about your life and to spend time in His presence. Because He promises that, “He will keep us in perfect peace when our minds are fixed on Him.”

Prayer: Lord thank you that I can be in perfect peace when I fix my mind on you. Help me to take the time to learn and think more deeply about the promises in your word, than I do about everything else going on around me. I receive and hold onto your peace today. In Jesus Name Amen.

I am leaving you with a gift–peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”(John 14:27)

 

30 Mar – What are you remembering?

Most of us carry around emotional baggage that causes us to react to people and circumstances in a certain way. This means that anytime we become highly emotional when listening or conversing with another person, or seeing something that relates to a traumatic event in our past, we would be wise to step back and check in on our emotions.  This becomes even more important when we find ourselves reacting more strongly than the situation warrants.

Neuroscience has discovered that when information enters the brain during conversation or situations a signal that creates major activity deep down in our brains is released. Our brain then goes into a state of expectation in preparation to build memories with the new incoming information.

Part of this activity is the movement of our existing memories which are linked in some way to new incoming information. These new thoughts move through our brains like a wind through a forest and as the thoughts sweep through research reveals they will activate four to seven memories. These memories will then move into our consciousness, allowing us to become aware of them. 

Why is all this neuroscience significant? Because when we think we also feel. Our thoughts in addition to information, have an emotional component to them. If we don’t deal with any “baggage” attached to our thoughts (which will become memories), we are going to react emotionally.  When someone says or does something it triggers our existing memories, which have an emotional component attached to them.

This is why its  very good idea to sit down regularly with Jesus and to examine our thoughts and why we may have reacted to a person, situation or comment. Many of our reactions have nothing to do with the situation at hand, but rather previous events. Most of our memories are probably healthy and good, but where there is a negative, stressful or unhealthy memory it is wise to reprocess that memory and to apply what God says about it. Otherwise some of our memories and life’s events will keep us captive to our past, and in some cases stuck and in real bondage, which is not what God wants for us. Jesus came to heal, deliver and set us free in every area of our life – memories included. “For who the Son (Jesus) sets free is free indeed“. (John 8:36)

Today take some time to write down one event or conversation in the last week, or from your past that you know still causes you pain or anxiety, and assess what your thoughts and emotional reactions are/were. Then examine what that event or thought triggered in your memory. Seek God honestly as to whether you are carrying emotional and memory baggage and ask for His healing and renewing as you spend time with Him. The people in our life deserve our best and Jesus died and rose again so that we could live free, so let’s not allow any “baggage” from the past continue to dictate to us how we live out today. It is affecting us more than we think! 

“Search me, Of God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way.…” (Psalm 139:23)

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds“. (Ps 147:2)

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28)

Prayer: Lord please help me to understand my emotions and reactions more honestly and please heal me of any past hurts. I want to live my best life now and not be hampered by past events or memories any longer. In Jesus name Amen

 

29 Mar – When the heat is on

Fire purifies – take silver or gold for example. When it is heated to extreme temperatures it becomes liquid and all its impurities rise to the surface. If the metal is to be the best quality those impurities and dross must be skimmed off the visible surface and removed. Otherwise as the silver or gold cools the impurities will become invisible again and merge into the cooling metal.

The intensity or pressure of the furnace brings out the best in precious metal and makes obvious what is a distraction or mere rubbish to be discarded. Without the pressure of intense heat the silver appears fine, but once heated it’s revealed what needs to be removed.

Our lives also resemble the process of purifying and the molding of precious metals. When we come under fire, feel the heat of difficulty, transition, uncertainty or experiencing any sort of pressure (both productive in the form of a new opportunity or negative in the pressure of difficult circumstances), who we are is revealed and the hidden issues of our lives are revealed.

Essentially “we are who we are in the fire”. It’s actually not when everything is cruisey that its revealed what we are made of, but when it’s hard that’s our real story is told. When “the heat is on,” how and what do we talk, act and think like? How do we treat others, what do we actually believe and will we remain standing or stumble under the pressure when the “fire” feels and is most intense?

None of us usually looks to be uncomfortable, we have to condition and push ourselves to be like that. But what if we changed our perspective and understood that if and when God allows the pressure and intensity of life to surround us it can and sometimes is even assigned by Him to bring the best out in us. To cause us to both grow in our capacity and to also have revealed the hidden things in our lives so we have the opportunity to face, deal with and let go of the unhelpful and unnecessary, so He can then freely shape us to be truly who we were made to be.

It’s when metal is heated in the furnace that the craftsmen is able to do his greatest work; removing impurities, and expertly shaping and designing it into something amazing and beautiful.

God wants is to realise that no matter what our circumstances, He has our life in His hands. When we’re under pressure or being stretched in some way if we are willing and obedient to His voice, God the master craftsmen will be at work seeking to bring out the best in us every time. Nothing need ever be wasted that we journey through, “For He causes everything to work together for good for those who love Him..” (Romans 8:28)

Today whatever or wherever you are at, Don’t run from Him, but allow God to work. Determine to deal with the impurities – its rubbish anyway. Any past or present issues, unforgiveness, disappointment and regret. “Skim that stuff off the top” and lay it at the foot of the Cross. Jesus already paid the price to set you free and to heal you from those things. (John 8:36) Then invite Jesus to work in and through you – I guarantee you will be amazed at what He will do if you allow Him to consistently work in your life and start to see and believe in what He sees in you. A person of worth, beauty, purpose and value to both Him and the world.

“I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, “These are my people,” and they will say, “The Lord is our God.” (Zechariah 13:9 NLT)

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed“. ( John 8:36 NIV)

Prayer: Lord help me to not be afraid of the heat of the fire and when the pressures of life surround me. Please give me wisdom to know what and where you are at work so that I am willing and obedient to your voice and can cooperate with and what you are doing in my life. I trust you to bring the best out in me and that there is always purpose in the process. In Jesus name Amen.

28 Mar – Fear can go to hell

One of the biggest things that can come against us in life is FEAR!

Fear of failure, rejection, disappointment, of not being worthy, of our past, of our future. Fear of the “What if’s”

Fear has been defined in an acrostic as False Evidence Appearing Real, and more often than not fear makes us think that the worst will happen!

Jesus gave us a tip as to where fear comes from when he said in John 10:10 “the devil comes to rob, kill and destroy, but I have come to give you abundant life”. We get a glimpse of that abundant life that Jesus wants to give us, and then too often it is stolen from us by the cares of life, our fears and worry.

That’s because the devil who is called the “father of lies” uses fear against us to make us feel helpless in resisting him. He wants us to doubt God and ourselves because it makes him appear stronger than he really is. The devil seeks to make us believe we are all alone and to warp our image of the world, ourselves and God and for us to give way to fear.

He tries to make us believe we have to strive for success and achievement before we are acceptable and whispers lies designed to intimidate, and all too often we listen.

Fortunately the truth is we are all created in the image of God and are precious in His sight. The key God has given us in the fight against fear is to grab hold of all that He has given, the authority we have in Him and to only believe and say what He says in His Word about our life and circumstances!

God has so much for us to experience in Him, to “LIVE” the life He has given to each one of us. Let’s not allow fear and intimidation to blind us to how much God loves us and How much He is for us! His perfect love for us casts out all fear.

Today instead of living and speaking fear get a little feisty, determine “enough is enough”, stand and declare what God says about you, tell fear to go to hell and let God’s perfect love cast out all fear and set you free. 

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love“. (1 John 4:18)

“I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future declares the Lord.” Jeremiah 29:11

“What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things.” (Romans 8:31-32)

So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you“. (James 4:7)

Prayer: Lord help me to not be afraid because you are with me and I am never lone. I stand against fear today and choose to believe what you say about my life and situation rather than the lies of the enemy and what I can see in the natural.  In Jesus name Amen.

27 Mar – Don’t be afraid to shine

Each one of us has something to bring to the world. No matter how small or insignificant we may feel God has created each one of us with the ability and capacity to shine in some way. “Even small lights have a way of being seen in a dark world” (N. Maxwell)

Sometimes our own fears and insecurities rise up to hold us back, and we can become more comfortable with failure than success. Or people may be threatened or even irritated when we choose to stand up and be who we were created to be. We can be reminded of our past failures or others try to “take us down” in some way. However we mustn’t allow that to discourage or cause us to shrink back or become less than who God says we are just because our brightness highlights someone else’s state of unhappiness, complacency or insecurity, or we have to give ourselves a push past a previous boundary in our lives. 

Most of us are far more powerful than we give ourselves credit for and when we have a relationship with Jesus that capacity only increases as we realise who we are in Him and the authority and ability we have. In Him impossible things become possible as previous limits are lifted off our lives and God’s presence and power working in us causes us to stand out and shine more brightly.

I encourage you today to determine not to shrink back any longer in life, but to step up into all that God says you are. Don’t allow your past, your failures or weaknesses to dictate to you any longer. If you’re not sure who you and what God says about you, then take the opportunity to spend some time with Jesus; open up His Word and see what He has to say about your life and the good plans He has for you, and then choose to stand up and let the light of who you are shine out. 

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new“. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

“Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:15-16)

Prayer: Lord thankyou for all that you have made me to be. Please help me to stop shrinking back or getting distracted or hindered by things that dont matter when you have created me to shine. Please help me to come out of hiding and the shadows so I can begin to be all that you have made me to be today. In Jesus name Amen.

26 Mar – Make a list

Today I found something, actually it found me and I’m quite thankful it did. The something was a small piece of paper with a list on it of all the things I wanted to happen and I’d told God about. It was dated at the top of the page and as I calculated I realised it was written almost exactly 2 years ago.

The crazy thing is that what’s on that list has been fulfilled almost completely, yet at the time of my writing that list these things looked almost impossible. However I’d written these requests down, prayed and declared that God answers my prayer, that He grant’s me the desires of my heart as I delight in Him, that nothing is impossible with God and He supplies all my needs. I’ve learnt if I wait on him He’ll give me a word to stand on and for me to release and declare over a situation, need or dream.

Interestingly in my time with God yesterday He once again said for me to, “Make a list of what you’d like to see happen, point my Word at it and declare it done”! Today’s fulfilled list was just encouragement for me that when we do things Gods way, trust Him, keep speaking the desired result and not the problem, and stand firm He will show Himself strong on our behalf. He is faithful to His promises and if we hold steady, don’t give up on the dreams and the destiny that He’s placed in our hearts He will bring it to pass.

Some things I say are like alpha alpha sprouts, they come up really fast when planted and you see them fulfilled quickly, and then other things might take a little longer. But regardless of when we plant the seed of a prayer request, there will always be something happening under the surface, in the “dirt” where you cannot see it.

God and all of heaven go to work and into setup mode once we pray, and if we keep watering our requests like water to a seed, give thanks and keep a good attitude, like pouring sunshine on a seed, then that thing will come up; it will come to pass. The key is to not give up; to throw up our hands and say it’s not working, and say it’s too hard and start digging up our seed before it has a chance to sprout and breakthrough.

Some things take time to grow, like a mighty oak tree, but once they grow, that tree (that answer and breakthrough) will last and shape generations. Some things we are praying and believing for today are going to effect our children, grand children and great grandchildren, and all those our lives impact and so it matters hugely that we hold steady now and do not grow weary and give up.

God loves us so much and His thoughts and plans for us are always, always good. He doesn’t want to with hold any good thing from us, but to bless and prosper our lives so much that we’ll be shouting it from the rooftops. When we have a dream, desire or request, if it is something or someone who is going to make our lives more whole, blessed, joyful and help us fulfill our destiny in Him He will move heaven and earth to make it happen.

I might add here that my husband of nearly 30 years was on the list of a hurting 17 year old young woman.. I wrote down and listed the desires of my heart and God heard and well and truly surpassed my list and sent a handsome, tanned, young man complete with the craziest dimples and a smile that turned heads into my life.. he loved and still loves Jesus first and cherishes me like no-one else.

Today whatever dream you have in your heart, whatever you are facing or struggling with, whatever you are believing for I encourage you to write it down. Then go to Gods word and ask Him to give you a word from the bible to stand on. Google scripture if you need to find a scripture verse for the subject you need a promise about. The right verse will jump out at you, and when it does write it down and start declaring it done.

God says He is alert and active watching over His Word to perform it, and that the angel’s listen up and go into action whenever people who believe start speaking Gods promises. (Jeremiah 1:12; Ps 103:20) That prayer, request, dream or desire when attached to Gods Word has within it the power to come to pass, because its has dynamic power in it like a supercharged seed ready to grow and bear fruit.

Write down the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it”, (Habakkuk 2:2)

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favour and honour. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly”. (Psalm 84:11)

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:32)

Prayer: Lord thank you that you want to answer my prayers. Please help me to have courage to write down the things on my heart and to start believing it is possible that I will see them happen in and through my life. All things become possible when you are involved, so thank you for breakthrough and answers today. In Jesus name Amen

25 Mar – Start a new chapter

Beginning a new chapter; the point where the previous part of the story has ended and the stage is set for a fresh character, story line or the opportunity to explore more deeply the journey already walked. The next chapter entails turning the page, shifting focus and moving forward.

I kinda love new chapters both in books and in life because there’s a certain excitement generated in new beginnings. Part of me wants to quickly turn the pages and find out what will happen next even though I may be feeling terrified or apprehensive at the same time.

Yet no matter how terrified, hesitant, stuck or afraid we may feel at the prospect of beginning a new chapter, our story when it comes to our lives doesn’t stop where we are currently. Life is always full of change, transition, challenges, the highs and the lows. However no matter what sort of story the previous chapters told our story isn’t over. It’s not too late to change it up, to write something completely new, to change the narrative.

Regardless of what we have or haven’t done or been to this point, our future hasn’t been set, we have choices and God always has a strategy and way through to write a different and more amazing story.

As Paul, who had a fair amount of mess-ups wrote in the Bible, “But one thing I do: “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus “. (Philippians 3:13-14)

We may have missed it or made some decisions we regret or would rather not have travelled through but whether or not we like the plot so far is not as important as what we do next. If we will allow God to help we can live and learn from the previous chapters, but then leave them behind and turn and run into a new part of our story.

Today ask yourself, “What will and can you do to begin the next part of your story?” One thing about new chapters is they are just that, new! What new thing can you do to change or enhance your story? What do you need to, start, change and take hold of to start moving towards the sort of story you want your life to tell and illustrate? 

Our future is so vast and full of amazing things that God wants to share with us…He says we were made to win, to laugh, to shout out loud and to really, really live. (John 10:10) The decision however is up to us as to whether we will listen to our hearts and the dreams that He has placed in them, believe for better things ahead and then choose every day to live out the story we were made to tell. God promises He will help us, for He is mighty to deliver us from anything that attempts to hold us back, and He promises over and over again to lead and guide us in every chapter of our lives.

I encourage you to start something new today. You don’t have to stay stuck, writing and living the same old thing chapter after chapter. Begin; take a step, look up and ahead today and discover, with God helping to write your narrative what sort of story you can tell that will make you and everyone else around you glad you got up in the morning, because when we are brave enough to begin a new chapter it inspires others to do the same.

Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has becomes an entirely new person. All that related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new”. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

“Everything connected to the old life is rotten through and through. Get rid of it! And then take on an entirely new way of life – a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you”. ( Ephesians 4:20-24 The Message)

Jesus said, “A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of”. (John 10:10 The Message)

Prayer: Lord thank you for new chapters in life and for the freedom and opportunity you give me everyday to write my story. I’m alive for a reason so please help me not to take that for granted but to really live the life you have tor me. Help me to lay aside the past and to look ahead to my future with hope and expectation today. In Jesus name Amen

 

24 Mar – Mountain top perspective

Yesterday I had a great day visiting the Blue Mountains in Sydney, and was reminded of just how big God is as I looked at the vast and incredible scenery.

The universe is quite an incredible place and just contemplating such things as the immensity of the number of stars in the sky is mind boggling, such as if every person were to count different stars, each person would have to count over 50 billion stars without counting the same star twice.

All around us creation says “Look at how I was created, look at the infinite wisdom and insight with which I was formed. Look at the sunrise and the sunset, the ebb and flow of the tides, the rhythm of the seasons, the beauty of a newborn baby or the greatness of the heavens above on a cloudless night” “Look and see”,  creation cries out there is a God and creator of infinite love and limitless power.

God says that He knows the number of stars and calls each of them by name. (Psalm 147:4)  He know when we sit and when we rise. He knows our thoughts before we speak them and the hidden things in our hearts. He sees and knows everything, and in the midst of all of this greatness and majesty He seesm cares for and loves us. (Psalm 147:4; Matthew 10:30)

“You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.…” (Psalm 139:2)

As I stood looking at the amazing mountain scenery yesterday I was reminded of the greatness of God and that He is more than capable of handling my every need and prayer. Sometimes its helpful to get out from under the “stuff ” we have to deal with everyday and to take the opportunity to literally stand on the mountain tops.  It quickly brings perspective of how big God is and how small our challenges are for Him to deal with.

Today I encourage you to take some time to think on just how powerful, creative, and unlimited God is. There are no limits or boundaries He cannot cross or override and there are no limits to His love.

Prayer: Lord I’m going to take some time to think about all you have done and acknowledge your greatness. Please help me to keep that in mind next time I am faced with a challenge and to remember to see things from the perspective that you are a more than capable of handling anything I may face. In Jesus name Amen.

 

 

 

23 Mar – He cares about every detail of our life

If there is one thing I often hear people say in reference to God and talking to Him in prayer it is that, “God is busy with more important things so I don’t want to bother Him with my situation or concerns”. Perhaps people think and believe this because secretly they feel unworthy and undeserving of Gods notice and care and as a result they won’t even bother to bring their requests and concerns to Him unless it is something major or their prayers are for someone else.

Which is all a bit unfortunate and not at all what God wants us to relate to Him like. Jesus taught that not even a tiny sparrow falls to the ground without Him noticing, and that He knows every hair upon our head, our thoughts before we even speak them and the hidden desires and secrets within our hearts. Nothing is hidden from His sight nor too insignificant for Him to take notice of, and He actually wants us to talk with Him, to bring our concerns and requests before Him and to share every detail of our lives with Him so that He can respond with answers, do abundantly more than we’ve asked for and build our faith and relationship with Him in the process.

This week I was reminded of Gods kindness and concern for these little everyday situations we face when I spent the day travelling around from place to place with one of our daughters as she did her job. On arriving at her first location rain suddenly started pouring down to such an extent that anyone getting out of their vehicle without an umbrella would very quickly get soaked. My daughter had to park quite a distance from her destination, had forgotten her umbrella and was busy lamenting this fact and the prospect of getting very wet when I reminded her that God cares about her getting wet, and that we can do something about the rain. Over the last few years we have been discovering afresh our authority in Jesus and how we can shift the weather, much the same as Jesus calmed the storm and silenced the wind and the waves. (Mark 4: 35-41) So if  Jesus did it then so can we. I reminded my lovely daughter of this and that it wouldn’t take long to sort the weather, as she well knew and had experienced for herself in the past. I quickly told the clouds to close up and the rain to stop and suddenly instead of heavy rain clear skies appeared and the rain stopped falling so my daughter was able to walk to and from her car all day without getting rained on at all.

Now many might say that this was just a coincidence, but I’ve seen rain stop, clouds close or open up, storms averted, fog vanish and weather patterns changed so many times now in answer to prayer as I or others speak to the elements that I don’t really believe that to be the case.

Primarily because God is interested in the smallest detail of our life. If it matters to us, it matters to Him which means nothing is too insignificant for Him to show Himself strong on our behalf. Weather changing, locating a parking spot, finding lost or misplaced items, meeting someone at an opportune moment, being healed, having wisdom in a situation or just knowing what to do and having the strength to do it are all everyday things that God wants to be involved in.

The only problem in all of this is that we often lack any expectation of God doing anything for us, believe we are unworthy or a bother and look for answers in the natural realm causing us to fail to believe and declare anything to happen supernaturally, and as the bible says, “you have not because you ask not”.  (James 4:2-3)

The littlest things in our day do matter to God. Our struggles, joy’s, wins and losses matter. He cares about a foggy day spoiling our plans or whether we stay warm and dry at work, especially if it will cause disappointment or do us harm to be otherwise. He cares when we misplace that important paperwork, can’t find a parking spot, or need a meeting or situation to go well. Sometimes things may not work out exactly as we envisage, but I’ve discovered if we maintain a great attitude, believe God will work all things out for our good and look for the “silver lining” God always comes through for us – be that instantly or at another God appointed time.

God’s timing and ways are never late and always perfect, and He wants us to learn to trust Him everyday even whilst in the middle of things and to keep expecting to see His goodness revealed in even the smallest detail of our lives, because He does care about it, because He cares about us.

I encourage you today to expect more.. go look in the bible at some of the wild, crazy stuff God does for people who are bold enough to believe and confident enough in their relationship and His promises to ask Him for what they need, desire and are believing for in their future. And remember if it matters to you it’ll matter to God because He loves and wants the best for you and nothing is too hard or too insignificant for him to answer.

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20)

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)

Prayer: Lord I’m believing and expecting for you to move in the big and the little things of my life. Please help me to ask and have faith in who you are, who you say I am and the authority I have in you to shift, change and breakthrough in mine and others lives today. In Jesus name Amen
