21 April – Leah; no accident!

Our youngest son Isaac has a very special friend named Leah. Anyone who knows much about Isaac knows Leah is the pony he rides and who holds a very special place in his heart. Isaac loves her!

The thing about Leah is that she was an “accident” and wasn’t really meant to happen according to her owner and Isaac’s riding coach. A stallion jumped the fence and got into the mares paddock and hey presto we have Leah.

In the horse world Leah is far from perfect or even “put together” right in the eyes of the judges and those who frequent horse shows. Yet Leah in Isaac’s eyes is perfect and in the list he is currently making of the top  100 things he is thankful for, Leah is in the top 5. Interestingly Isaac is not alone in his love of Leah, as anyone who rides her believes she is special. She’s gentle with just enough sass to teach everyone how to handle themselves around a horse, yet she always seems to look after anyone who has the privilege of riding her.

Pretty great for an “accident” who was never planned and simply a result of some stallion doing the “wrong thing” according to the world’s way of looking at things.

The thing is God actually knows what He is doing, and one look at Isaac and Leah together lets you know that He knew exactly what He was doing when it came to Leah. Perhaps because “accidents’ and the mistakes of others or even our own choices in God’s hands become not messes but miracles instead.

Today I want to encourage you that regardless of whether you feel like your life is one big accident or mess up, you are in fact, just like Leah, and someone’s potential miracle and an absolute gift to the world if you’d only start to see yourself like God sees you.

God always has a plan and nothing in His hands is ever wasted, and no one to Him is an accident. It’s just that He needs to be able to have access to every area of our life to bring out the best in us, and to turn any mess into a miracle  – which today is exactly what He has been working on and planning for you.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”(Jeremiah 29:11)

“You were born for such a time as this”.(Esther 4:14)

“I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex!
Everything you do is marvellously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord!
You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place,
carefully, skilfully shaping me from nothing to something.
You saw who you created me to be before I became me. Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book. Every single moment you are thinking of me! How precious and wonderful to consider that you cherish me constantly in your every thought!” 
(Psalm 139:14-18 TPT)

Prayer: Lord please help me to see my life through your eyes and that instead of being a mess or accident I am actually a gift to the world and someone who you have a plan and a purpose for. Help me to really see myself the way you see me today. In Jesus name Amen.





20 April -100 things

The last few days our youngest child Isaac has been making a thankful list of 100 things He is thankful for and can celebrate and be joyful about. He’s got happier and happier the bigger his list has gotten.

The thing is, there is real power in giving thanks and celebrating. It’s a mighty spiritual weapon that God gives us to keep perspective, our hearts soft and to combat disappointment, despondency, heaviness and tiredness. It’s the power of giving thanks and rejoicing  that reminds us we are loved and accepted by God, that He is in control, has a plan and that everything is in fact going to be all right!

Philippians 4:4-9 instructs and encourages us to rejoice; to celebrate the good things in life. To think on those things that are true and pure and praiseworthy. And when we do, God’s peace will be with us.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God

Regardless of what’s going on in our lives right now, we have so much to celebrate and be grateful for. Sometimes the best thing for us to stop and give thanks and to get some perspective on what we do have in our life.

Today stop for a moment and think of all the things (big and small) that you can give thanks for and to celebrate about your life right now. Then like Isaac write it down and put it somewhere you can see it to remind you throughout the day.  Why not try making a list of 100 things to be thankful for – 10 things a day will get you started, and if people are on your thankfulness list why not let them know they’re special to you and bless them too.

Make your life a prayer. And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is Gods perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus“. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 TPT)

Prayer: Lord thank you. Thank you for all that you have given me and blessed my life with. Please help me to remember those people and things that I can be thankful for, if I’d only stop a moment and see how much good is in my life. Please help me to do that today. In Jesus name Amen


19 April – Come up Here


The world doesn’t need more do’ers it needs more feasters. More people who will eat and drink and be merry. More party goers!

That may sound strange but it’s so true and so simple. Jesus invites us everyday to eat and drink what He has on offer and there is a lot on offer! But sadly we so often make life far more difficult and a harder “slog” than we need to and miss what Jesus is offering. We take all the joy and bliss out of knowing Him.

We don’t have to work or toil for Him to love us. He loves us right now, for who and what we are in this moment. All Jesus asks is that we come and hang out with Him, that we “come up” out of the distractions, the work, the pressures, and spend time with Him. Then everything else flows out of that place we find in Him.

I had a revelation a few years ago that changed my life. I was spending time with God and I heard Him say clearly within me. Come up here, come up”. You can come up here anytime you want to. Let go of the things of the world, and come up here.” It was a call heavenward, and as I heard those words, I felt myself being pulled upward. Then this power hit my body so hard that I was shaking from head to toe. I saw lights moving in front of my face and all around me, and God kept calling me. “Come up, Come up here”.

It was an encounter that shifted things inside me like never before. I looked in the mirror a few hours later and my face was actually glowing and shining. Ever since then I feel this pull to just spend time with Jesus, to seek Him out, to “sit on a park bench”  to speak, and rest in Him. At other times I’ll be just walking along chatting to Him or talking to someone about Jesus and I will physically feel an updraft around me. His tangible presence and love is so much closer now. He calls us to “Come up,” and it’s a simple step, to relocate myself into the realms of heaven like stepping through a door, through the veil, or as I like to say “the garden gate”. It’s truly awesome.

We don’t have to wait until we die to have that kind of closeness to heaven, to God. We have the invitation now, because we have been given access to heaven by what Jesus did on the cross for us. There is no barrier now, no sin too big, no distance. All he asks is that we accept his offer of forgiveness and love and to follow Him and His way of doing things. And His ways are quite frankly far more exciting and a lot easier than anything we can think up.

Jesus himself said, I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.” (John 10:9)

Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-29)

Today I encourage you to take up the invitation that Jesus extends to everyone. “Come up, come up and see, hear and know now”. Don’t wait until you die to experience heaven and all the amazing things God wants you to walk in and to reveal. Death is not the doorway to heaven, Jesus is!

No matter where you are at with God, open up and read this invitation. Ask Jesus to forgive you where you have messed up; where you have done things your own way. Then close your eyes to shut out this world’s distractions, and step through the “gate” by faith into heaven. Ask Jesus to reveal himself to you, to show you around. Give him all your worries, your concerns and anything else that keeps pulling you back down. Then enjoy.

Oh, by the way there are no time limits or any other entry conditions. That’s it. We can “go up” into heavenly places anytime we want. It’s the ultimate passport to travel!

“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth”. (Colossians 3:1-2)

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (By grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”(Ephesians 2:4-6)

Prayer: Jesus help me to let go of the things of the world that keep me focused on earth instead of heaven. Forgive me when I mess up or forget you. Please help me to step into heaven’s realms to spend quality time with you. In Jesus Name Amen.

18 April – I’ve got your back


I’m a mum of six pretty amazing children who I am fiercely protective of and I not afraid to go into battle for if the need arises. Our older kids now joke that you better not poke the “Mumma Bear” because she’s gonna come out fighting. They know I will be there if they need me. Even though they joke and tease me they’ve also grown up knowing I have their backs.

However as they’ve grown and travelled through each development stage I have had to make myself progressively step back from being the “Mumma Bear” and allow them to do things for themselves instead. It’s started early when they were babies and first learnt to take their first steps. I had to let them do it alone otherwise they would just want to be carried everywhere and would never develop the muscles and strength needed to walk or run alone. This principle I’ve discovered translates over into every area of life as we all need to experience, learn and be free to make mistakes to develop as God planned.

There have been many times when I have to stand back and allow my kids or those I lead the space to make mistakes and to learn from their experiences as they grow. Otherwise we can risk missing a development stage and being hampered by immaturity in an area of our lives. The key I’ve found in being “Mumma Bear” and not a hovering, annoying parent or leader is to ask God for the wisdom and trust in Him to know when to hold people, when to step back and when to reach out and catch them before they crash and damage themselves or others permanently.  

God is much the same. He is the ultimate “Papa Bear” and will go in hard core to protect His kids. He does not like it when we are messed with, hurt or damaged in any way. You just have to look in the bible to see that He will do whatever He needs to do to fulfil His promises to those who love and follow Him. He will part the waters, break down walls, obliterate enemy armies, make the sun stand still, quiet the storm, turn water into wine, raise the dead, heal the sick and restore people’s lives in whatever way is required. Whatever He needs to do, He will do it to care for and to fulfil His Word to those who believe.

However He also wants our lives to be fruitful and knows that at times that means pruning unhelpful aspects out of our lives, us confronting issues, removing hindrances, allowing us to go to hard places to refine us, as well as sending people to love and support us and reminding us of the big picture and what He has called us to be. Just look at the life of Joseph who spent time down a well and in prison for 14 years before he was promoted to the second most powerful person in the land. Or Abraham, Moses and David who all wandered around for years in the wilderness as God refined them before they saw His promises come to pass. (Genesis 12; Exodus; 1 Samuel 23:14-29)

Just as I will go to the utmost to protect and bless my kids, God promises He will protect and always be there for us. Where there are times I must clench my hands in my lap, grit my teeth to say nothing and go to prayer instead of getting involved, God will also  allow us to go to the uncomfortable spaces and cause us to have to stand up and find out what we are made of even if it feels like we are alone, because He is aware of what we need to develop into all that we were made to be. All the time however, just as I am at the ready as “Mumma Bear,” He is ready to catch and rescue us if we are overwhelmed or in danger.

Today as we take the time to celebrate the Easter weekend know that God has your back and will always be there for you, even to the point of Jesus dying for you so that you would be protected, rescued from evil and to enable you to have a hope and a future. He says we will have things we have to travel through, but to not be afraid because He is  alongside us and always has good things planned for us everyday. Knowing that you can rest assured in His love and go out and enjoy all that He has given you this Easter weekend.

“So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture….

None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us”. (Romans 8:31-39 The Message)

“When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place,
it won’t be a dead end— Because I am God, your personal God.”
(Isaiah 43:1-3 The Message)

 Prayer: Lord thank you that you always have my back and will do whatever you need to do to fulfil your word to me. Please help me to remember when I am facing difficulties or challenges that you are with me and are at working in me to help me to become the person you have created me to be. In Jesus name Amen.

17 April – Remember what He’s done

I remember lots of things. Important events, people’s faces and names, experiences and places I’ve been. I remember learning I was expecting each one of our children, their births, milestones and special moments that I treasure with them. I remember the first time I saw my husband and the moment he said I love you for the first time. I remember times when God has spoken or revealed more of Himself to me. I remember visions, dreams and encounters with Him.

I think it’s important to remember milestones and important details in our lives. Life is made up of moments and there are moments that are worth remembering. Life goes by so fast and sometimes we need to mentally and emotionally pause and take a mental snap shot so we can store these moments away so we remember them.

The bible is full of remembrances. Of when and where God would show up on the scene and deliver or reveal Himself to people. They would then leave a marker or memorial to remind themselves and their descendants every time they passed that spot of what God had done for them. (Joshua 4:4-7)

Easter is one of those markers for the world and for those who follow Jesus. It is a marker in our lives every year to remember what Jesus has done for us. That He loves us so much that He sacrificed His life so that we might be free from the power and consequences of sin and a fallen world. It’s a marker for us to remember that the power of the devil is broken in our lives, that we are not alone, and that we have nothing to fear, we are never alone and have a home and passport to heaven.

This Easter take some time to remember. In the busyness of family gatherings, picnics, public holidays and chocolate overload, take some time out to remember Him. He is the reason for the season, He is the reason we remember and celebrate. He died, rose again, conquered sin and death and triumphed over the devil, delivering us and setting us free. Because of Jesus we can have a full overflowing abundant life free from guilt and shame.  Now that’s something worth remembering. (John 10:10)

This Easter why not tell someone about this important marker in the calendar, and what Jesus means to you. If you don’t know about Jesus I encourage you to find a church, gathering or someone who knows Him and find out who and what Easter is all about.

Be blessed as you remember and celebrate Him this Easter. (John 19)

“For the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil”. (1 John 3:8)

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”(John 3:17)

Prayer: Lord I want to thank you for your goodness and for what you did for me on the cross. Please help me to make memories and to remember all the good things in my life. In Jesus name Amen.


16 April – No longer slaves


This is a repost but a good thought to ponder upon again…

Today my husband and I took our two youngest children to the zoo. While there we looked at the Sun Bear’s exhibit and read about why two particular bears at our zoo paced back and forward across their enclosure as though they were chained up, rather than moving in a more free and unlimited manner. However we soon learnt that as young cubs these bears had been harshly treated and before being rescued from their captors they’d been chained permanently to a post, which only allowed them limited movement. As a result they had been conditioned to only pace back and forward in a small space.

As I watched the sun bears pacing I realised that we can do the very same thing. When we know Jesus and have asked Him to be part of our lives He comes and offers us freedom. The bible says, “who the son (Jesus) sets free is free indeed.” (John 8:36) Yet so often we live anything but free lives because we still think and act like we are in chains; chained to our past, our sin, our disappointments, our mistakes, our fears and every other thing that the devil came against us with. We pace back and forward stuck in narrow pathways and mindsets, when we have actually been given open access to all that heaven and earth has to offer. We have been given freedom, joy, and an amazing future where God is with us and for us.

Unfortunately instead of living out that freedom and exercising our dominion and authority over our circumstances because Jesus said we have that right, we often still live under our circumstances and allow our past to dictate to our future.

Thankfully Jesus declared that we have been set free, and that our past has been washed away. In relationship with Him we have been given a clean slate – He calls us new creations; born again with a new life and absolute freedom from the things that previously held us in chains. (2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 10:9)

The choice everyday therefore  is ours – will we live in slavery or embrace the freedom for which Jesus set us free?

Today consider carefully whether you are behaving and thinking like a slave; pacing back and forward hampered by limitations from your past or the lies the enemy is still telling you? Or are you choosing to live free as a son or daughter of God with all the blessing and authority of heaven behind you? Jesus has broken every chain, which means we are longer slaves, so isn’t it about time we started truely living out our freedom?

For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)

You haven’t received the spirit of slaves that leads you into fear again. Instead, you have received the spirit of God’s adopted children by which we call out, “Abba! Father!” (Romans 8:15)

Prayer: Jesus thank you that when I ask you to be part of my life you set me free and broke the bondage of slavery off my life.  Please help me to grasp hold of what you have done for me and that I would choose everyday to live out the freedom that is mine. In Jesus name Amen.

15 April – Keep moving forward


Many people know what it is to have a dream and many also know what it feels like when they “haven’t done quite what they set out to do”. Sometimes things don’t work out as planned and we can wonder where we went wrong, whether we heard from God correctly and what we should do now?

I’ve discovered that it’s really important to look at what we do have going for us at these times. It’s helpful to stop, reflect, pinpoint and write down where and why we feel like we’ve failed or are disappointed and then also where we have experienced success.

Then we can build on our successes and seek God over whether we can do anything about those things that didn’t go according to plan.

Today take a few moments to assess how your vision and dreams are progressing. If you feel like you are beginning to drift or come to a “stand still” or you are suffering from discouragement, take a moment to step back, seek God and reassess.

Is the reality of pursuing your vision and dream what you thought? Is the passion still there? Do you need to take some time for God to heal and restore you?

What little step can you make today towards fulfilling the bigger picture? You may not feel like you can do everything right now, but what can you do?

Keep building on your successes, and do what you can do to work towards achieving your dream.

You may not be the best at whatever you are working towards yet, but you can practice, train and start to build an image inside you of success and blessing today.

To help you keep your focused here are some things to remember:

1.  Encourage yourself with God’s word – it’s “the manual for success” and holds the wisdom of Heaven in it.

2. Let go and give over any past disappointments or failures to God, and let Him restore your self-worth and self-esteem with what He says about you. Allow Him to renew the image inside of you to one of success and not failure, being blessed instead of feeling cursed, healthy instead of sick, abundantly supplied instead of living in lack, bold instead of fearful, and loved instead of rejected.

3. Write down God’s promises and carry them around with you. Then every time you have a negative or fearful thought you can remind yourself of God’s love and promises, and renew your mind with what God says about your future.

4. Surround yourself with those people who will believe with you, pray for you, and encourage you in your dreams and vision.

God says, “Roll your works upon the Lord. (Commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and) so shall your plans be established and succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3)

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass.”(Psalm 37:5)

Decide what you can do today to keep moving forward, and then do it!

Prayer: Lord help to know where I am succeeding and where I need encouraging in your Word. Please show me what I can do right now to keep walking towards my dream and the vision you have put inside of me. In Jesus name Amen.


14 April – You are loved

The greatest happiness of life is the conviction we are loved.

The world has a view of love which is understood to be: an intense felling of deep affection or fondness for a person or thing. A great liking. This meaning is taken from the Latin and Greek words – eros and amore’. It is speaking essentially of a “love of the worthy”.

Love is also mentioned 735 times in the Bible. The word love in the bible however has a different definition. It is when someone is loved no matter what, even if totally unworthy!

1 John 3:16 explains love this way, “This is how we know what love is. Jesus Christ laid down his life for us”.

If we speak of God; of His greatness, His power and His righteousness, but omit to say He is Love we miss what matters most of all!

He is Love and the most important thing we can grasp is to know and experience that love for ourselves. God encourages us to earnestly pursue and seek to know His love and to make it our aim and greatest quest. (1 Corinthians 14:1)

It’s a love which holds nothing back, a love which is always giving, a love which overlooks cultural, economic and class boundaries. It’s a love demonstrated in action when Jesus gave His life for all mankind on a wooden cross.

Look for yourself at Jesus as He loves the women who was sentenced to death for adultery (John 8:3-11), or the raising from the dead of the only son of a widow (Luke 7:11-15). Of the acceptance of Zaccheus, a previously despised thieving, little man (Luke 19:2-10), or the demon possessed man who lived in the cemetery, whom Jesus loved and set free to live a new life (Mark 5:2).

Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever. How he loved then, is still how he loves now. It doesn’t matter if you think yourself invisible to everyone else, He still sees you. It doesn’t matter what you have or haven’t done, how successful you are, or if you feel a complete failure. It matters not! Jesus loves you.

“Love was demonstrated to us in this, that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”.(Romans 5:8)

The world’s “love system” says you are lovable only if you are worthy in some way.  You are worth loving only if you are good or successful enough and are someone others aspire to be, then and only then does the world says you are worthy of loving. But if you are broken, ugly, bitter or twisted; if you are unpopular, have a past or issues or seem invisible to others then who would bother loving you?

I say that the world’s love system is failing, it is messed up and it is messing people up. But God’s “love system” is fully intact and transforming. If we believe that or we desperately want that type of love then we each has a decision to make. Which love will we seek after and earnestly long to know with all our hearts? God’s type of love or the worlds?

I’m not talking about just a head knowledge of love either. Of a “Oh yes, Jesus Loves me”. But the deep, transforming knowledge and peace that regardless of what you do or how you perform, you know you are deeply loved. As you experience this love you will then also be empowered to love yourself and others around you with God’s love as it is released in your heart and life. And that kind of love changes everything – it changes us, our relationships and our future. That kind of love has the potential to change the world. 

Jesus says you can know that kind of love. He says “You will find me if you seek me, when you search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13).

Today I encourage you to really seek to know and live in God’s love for you, and that as you do you will have the power to understand how wide, long, high and deep His love is, that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:18-19)

Prayer: Lord please help me to know what real love feels and looks like so that I don’t settle for anything less than your best for me. In Jesus name Amen.


13 April – What love looks like!


In a world which sells sex and physical attraction as being of utmost importance and encourages everyone to put themselves and their needs before others, love and even being able to recognise it when it’s right in front of us, can get very missed and lost in translation.

Many people haven’t even seen a loving relationship last the distance of time or with any consistency, and therefore they don’t know what it looks like or what to expect or aim for. Parents separate, people cheat on one another, arguments and strife are everywhere and disappointments and broken hearts abound.

However love is God’s idea, and since He is love and is always working in people’s lives, true, pure love must and does still exist. It’s just that sometimes we need to be shown or reminded of what it looks like.

Today for me that love looked like an egg on toast.

I’d woken up early with a lot on my mind and was busy telling my sleepy husband all about my thoughts. After a while He disappeared out to the kitchen to get us both some eggs on toast to have breakfast in bed together. He loves his eggs for breakfast. A few minutes later he comes into the room with my chai and a plate with an egg and toast on it. I asked where his breakfast was and he replied, “there was only one egg”.

There was only one egg and my husband of nearly 30 years chose to give the breakfast he wanted for himself to me. Not only did he give it to me, but he also did it with a huge smile, and his crazy dimples beaming happily at me.

We can so easily miss what love is because love’s not only in the grand gestures, diamond rings, expensive dinners or big holidays – amazing as they all are. Love is an everyday choice we make in the little things; in the preferring of other’s before ourselves, in the “what can I do to bless you” thoughts and actions, in the gestures of kindness and seeking to serve one another.

Love isn’t about how much we can get from someone, but how much we can give to someone!

After 30 years of being together my man still opens the door for me, cooks dinner a lot of the time, sends me text messages throughout the day to see how I’m going, and looks for ways to bless and show care and kindness towards me. He’s not perfect, but he seeks God to help him to always be growing, and to be a better husband, father and person every day. He knows he can’t love like he wants to without God’s help, so he doesn’t try. Instead everyday I watch as my husband seeks God’s face, spends time in His presence and His Word, renews his thinking and life to line up with how God does and sees things and then works to put it into words and actions.

We all mess up because we are works in progress. We are God’s masterpieces that He is perfecting. But God is love and if we keep our hearts open, our minds constantly being renewed by His words and choose what He says over what we want, we will be transformed to love in a way that will change us, those close to us and in the lives of all we have influence and contact with. 

I was reminded today of what love is…and in my eyes my man won my heart all over again with a simple egg on toast.

Today I encourage you to seek God’s heart and His ways. He is love and the only one that can equip us to love like He does – unconditionally and without limits. He promises when we draw near to Him that He will smooth off the rough edges in us, cleanse us from our past wrongs and failings, lead us in the right way to walk, help us to let go of that which would lead us astray and learn to trust Him as He guides us to the relationships he has planned for us and to the real thing! His love working in us will always enable us to let go of fear and to love beyond measure just like He does.

And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.” (Romans 5:5 NLT)

Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,”Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,Doesn’t revel when others grovel,

Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,Puts up with anything,

Prayer: Lord thank you that you love me so much and are faithful to cleanse and forgive me when I miss love’s mark. Would you please continue to transform me by your word and presence in my life so that I will grow to love as you love, and be able to see that outworked in my relationships. Today I stand on your promise that your love never fails. In Jesus name Amen.
