What sort of life are you living, and what kind of life do you want to live?
The Bible says, “But one thing I do, forgetting those thing which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus”. (Philippians 3:12-14).
God has a plan and a purpose for each one of us. He says, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Jesus said, “I have come to give you fullness and abundant life. ” (John 10:10)
We grab hold of all that God has for us to focus on who God says we are by finding out what God says about our situation in His words in the bible. As we grab hold of what He says we can more easily let go of the past and any the disappointments, unforgiveness, bitterness, hurt, loss and lack.
Let go of your old way of doing things and seek to be the best version of yourself by choosing to grow and change continually for the better. Because if we don’t change we will invariably go backwards.
Hebrews 12:1 in the Bible says, “Let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings and entangles us, and let us run….
“Looking away from all that will distract us to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith”.
As you step into a new month and week choose every day to run into your best life.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for this New Year and all that is ahead of me. Please help me let go and allow you to lead me in the way I should go. I trust you to help me live my best life. In Jesus name Amen
