Those words, “its all going to be okay” are what many of us need to hear on a regular basis. Because sometimes lets face it, we all feel like things are not in any way, shape or form okay!
However it’s often in the very middle of not feeling like things are going well that I’ve discovered God is right there with me. We may not understand why or what is going on at the time but that’s not really what we need focus on – sometimes there is no easy answer to why things happen.
What’s important in the middle of things is that we understand we are not alone and that regardless of how we feel or what it looks like God does care about us. He will strengthen and help us, He will work all things out for our good and if we just keep our eyes on Him, keep looking ahead and continue to do what we know to do, we are going to be okay. Plus more often than not we will find ourselves stronger for persevering through the difficulties.
Today whatever sort of day or situation you are facing, know you are never alone because God is with you and He cares. Keep looking at and walking with Him and you will be okay. You may have a few bumps and bruises and gain some faith muscles you didn’t have before, but you will be okay.
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
“And we know that God causes everything to work together?for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28)
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Hebrews 12:1-3)
Prayer: Lord thank you that you care about me and that you will never leave me to handle life’s circumstances alone. Help me to remember that today and thank you that I am going to be okay. In Jesus name Amen
