If you can see the harvest, you won't have a problem sowing towards it.
It's the principle of sowing seeds and reaping a harvest, and it works in every area of our life. It's the way God has designed the universe.
"For whatever a man sows, that and that only is what he will reap." (Galatians 6:7)
The fantastic part about sowing and reaping is that if you realise that some of the things produced in your life are not what you desire or are God's best, He has a solution –Imagine the harvest you do want and then consistently sow into that vision.
Today, I encourage you to spend some time with Jesus and ask him to download His best plan for your life to you. Get the vision before you, and then start sowing into that vision and harvest. If it's to have a great job, then sow into your education, skills and knowledge.
If it's to have healthy relationships and a family, then take the time to deal with any heart and mindset issues. Give the healthy relationships in your world a place of priority, and sow into them your time, effort, prayer and even your finances.
If it's to have more faith or a closer walk with God, then sow into that desire and the harvest you'll receive of mountain-moving faith, strength, joy and faithfulness by committing to spending time getting to know Jesus, others who know Him too and following what He says in His Word.
Keep the vision before you of what and why you are sowing because once you can see the harvest you want in the future, the seeds of your time, sacrifice, effort, and money will have a purpose, and you can more easily trust the process of how things grow into God's hands.
Today I encourage you to seek Jesus for His best for your life. You're not too broke or broken to reap a harvest if you have even a tiny seed to sow.
God has promised to give you bread to eat and seed to sow, so ask for his strength and power to help you envision the harvest and then look for ways to sow what you have in your hand into what you want to receive and see increase in your life.
"For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous.” (2 Corinthians 9:10-12 NLT)
"Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you." (Luke 6:38 ESV)
"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up." (Galatians 6:9 ESV)
"Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." (Galatians 6:8)
Prayer: Lord, please give me the wisdom to choose wisely the things I plant and allow to grow and multiply in my life. Please help me to see the harvest so that I will sow wisely with expectation and faith today. In Jesus name Amen.
