How much obsessing do we do over our assessment of others and their assessment of us?
Being concerned about what others think of us can sap our energy, and get our whole perspective of our lives wrong. We can get so busy looking at what others are saying, doing, getting, and where they are going, instead of protecting and keeping our identity in who we are.
Remember the proverb 23:7, “As a man thinks in his heart so is he.”
Our perception of who we are affects everything. It’s our self-talk, and we will always act in accordance with how we perceive ourselves.
Most of us do not live up to our calling in Christ. We live below our privilege. We claim few of God’s promises, and too often fail to live up to the significance that God has given our lives.
Matt 16:19 says “And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven”.
We are made to reign as Kings and Priests. The Bible calls us a royal priesthood, which enables us to come boldly to the throne room of God to find grace and help when we need it. (Heb 4:16)
Miracles and signs and wonders are part of our new creation reality.
God wants to show us how to operate within the realm of our new life and authority as children of God.
God wants us to know how to use what we have been given. It’s already inside us. We simply need to learn how to walk in it. How to access what has been gifted and authorized.
Whenever and wherever Christians get a hold of who they really they are amazing.
If you believe that you’re a failure, then you will act like one.
If you believe that you are a child of God who is dearly loved by Him, dead to sin, freed from it and alive to God, you can learn to act in a way that is consistent with who you are in Christ.
Don’t let the memories of your past cast a shadow over your new life in Jesus, and make you doubt your standing before Him.
Don’t fall for the devil’s tactics; he’s been using them from the beginning. He plans to try and make you live in fear, doubt and failure. To try and stop you living the life Jesus died to give you.
“The devil was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies“ (John 8:44)
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)
Make a decision today to step up into all that Jesus says you are. Don’t be fooled by the devil’s tactics against you. You are a child of God; you’re powerful. The resurrection power of God resides on the inside of you. Walk in it today, use it, and speak the truth of Who and What God says you are today.
“Behold, I give you the authority over… all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19)
Prayer: Thank you that I have resurrection power on the inside of me. Lord I choose today to walk in the power, authority and privilege I have as a son/daughter of The Most High God, creator of Heaven and earth. In Jesus name Amen.
