Ever thought about how life would feel without the things you love most? That friend who always makes you laugh, the cozy cup of tea or coffee in the morning, or the moment someone said, “I’m proud of you.” It’s a game-changer when you realise how much God has given you—even in the small stuff.
One of my favourite ways to focus on gratitude is to write things down or recount 10 things I'm thankful for out loud. Not just the big wins, but the little surprises too. The small joys, the unexpected kindness, or the moments of beauty - like when someone holds the door open for you or offers you their parking spot, you hear some good news, or when the sun shines after a rainy day. These tiny moments add up and remind us how much God cares about every detail of our lives, and that He is always working. When we regularly record our gratitude, we gain clarity, shift our perspective, and build a habit of contentment.
Action Steps:
Reflect on a recent surprise that brought joy and thank God for it.
Write down five things you are grateful for from this past week.
Challenge yourself to focus on blessings rather than problems throughout the day.
Think and Say: Gratitude opens my heart to God’s provision and joy.I choose to notice and celebrate the small blessings in my day. I am thankful right now for…..
Bible Verse:"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18, NIV)
Prayer: Lord, thank You for all the little moments that make my day brighter. Help me not to overlook them but to always be grateful for the way You take care of me and to find joy in every season of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen
