How do you think God sees you?
It’s a pretty important question, isn’t it? How we believe God sees us shapes not just our faith but also our everyday lives. If you think God is disappointed or constantly disapproving, it changes how you approach Him and what you expect out of life.
Whereas if you think and believe that He is for you and not against you, that he cares for and loves you and always is working everything out for your good, you will respond to circumstances, whether they be good or challenging very differently.
As a result, you will also start speaking a certain way which is so important to our life, because how you frame your words will be how you frame your world. You cannot speak negative words and live a positive life.
Our words can create doubt and negativity, or they can position our life for something great. The question is; "What are you saying about your life?"
The entire world was created with words. God said, “Let there be… and there was (the sun, the moon, the stars, everything) God is a God who speaks of non-existent things as if they already exist (See Romans 4:17 NIV) He expects us to follow the same principles and to experience the same success.
Essentially, you prophesy your future and frame up the life you desire by your words and those words originate from what you believe and how you see God. When you allow God to work in you, He starts to renew your mind, ridding you of any “stinking thinking” and renewing your thoughts with what He says in His word.
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God”. (Romans 12:2)
He says you are new; you are loved, you are whole, you are righteous, you are healed, you are free, you are forgiven, you have a sound mind, you are strong, you are bold, you are brave, you are patient, you are kind and loving, you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
His words have power – dynamic power in them. They have the power to restore and transform, but it’s our choice whether we receive these words from God or we reject them.
When your dreams seem impossible, and it looks like nothing is changing don’t use your words to describe your situation, use your words to change the situation and to speak what you desire and God’s truth about your life.
If there is something missing, broken or not right then look at what God is saying about your life and start declaring that with everything you have within you. Eventually things must line up with what He says.
When God speaks, things are shaped, changed, and brought to life. He wants you to speak what He speaks and to agree with what He says about your life and every situation you are facing.
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it” (for death or life). (Prov 18:21 NIV)
“If you will change what you’re saying, you’ll change what you’re seeing.” (Joel Osteen)
Today I encourage you to examine how you think God sees you and to adjust your belief and thinking if it doesn’t line up with the truth of what he declares in the Bible.
Then consider your life and start to see yourself living and enjoying the life you desire. If you need breakthrough in an area start visualising and declaring that coming into alignment and know that everything in you and all of heaven will start to go to work to make it a reality. (Psalm 103:20 NIV)
“I make known the end from the beginning. from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, “My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.” (Isaiah 46:10)
“Everything I prophesied has come true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens.” (Isaiah 42:9)
Prayer: Lord thank you for the amazing life I’m living; that all things are possible with you. Please help me to get a right picture of how you feel and think about me and to start to expect good things to happen today and for your favour to be poured out on me. In Jesus name Amen.
